Cigna Dental’s Oral Health Integration Program®(OHIP) aims to combat dental issues such as periodontal disease and caries by reimbursing patient out-of-pocket costs for preventive and therapeutic dental services. The program is for people with certain medical conditions with a higher risk of oral health issues.
Medical conditions in OHIP include: Heart Disease, Stroke, Diabetes, Maternity, Chronic Kidney Disease, Organ Transplant, Head & Neck Cancer Radiation, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Lupus, Parkinson’s Disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Huntington’s Disease, and Opioid Misuse and Addiction.
