Provider Complaint and Appeal Process

Your relationship with Cigna is very important to us. Cigna Dental offers providers a process to address complaints and appeals for dentist terminations, claim denial/non-payment, network participation denial, or when state law requires appeals for other reasons. If you wish to file an appeal or discuss issues with Cigna, contact Customer Service at 800.Cigna24 (800.244.6224).

You should submit all appeals in writing within 180 calendar days of the date of the initial decision. If the appeal relates to a payment that Cigna adjusted, the appeal must be initiated within 180 calendar days from the date of the last payment adjustment. All provider appeals must be in writing and sent to the following address:
