Dr. Virgil Benjamin is Cigna Dental’s CA Dental Director. Dr. Benjamin’s responsibilities include clinical leadership and support at a regional level, and a clinical resource for clients and for organization projects.

Dr. Benjamin obtained his degree from Iloilo Doctors’ College in the Philippines and has been in clinical practice for more than 20 years. He was also a clinical instructor for the Dental Hygiene program of Concorde Career College San Bernardino and the Dental Assisting program of Charter College Lancaster. Prior to joining Cigna, he was a Dental Consultant with Western Dental Services’ Quality Management Department. He joined Cigna in 2019.

Dr. Benjamin maintains an active dental license in California and is a member of the American Association of Dental Consultants, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Tri County Dental Society.
