Dr. Kristen Ellis is Cigna Dental’s Texas Regional Dental Director. She provides quality management oversight of the region, collaborates on clinical policy development, and provides clinical support for our sales/growth partners, clients, and customers.

Dr. Ellis brings 13 years of clinical and industry experience to Cigna Healthcare – Dental & Vision. She obtained her Doctorate from the Meharry Medical College in 2011 and obtained a Women’s Business Entrepreneurship Certificate from Cornell University in 2020. During her tenure providing clinical care and leadership with various Community Health and Federally Qualified Health Centers, Dr. Ellis was appointed by the Secretary of Health & Human Services to serve as a Dental Health Expert – Special Government Advisor. Most recently, she served as the Director of Dental Networks and Quality Management with Guardian Life Insurance Company.

Dr. Ellis maintains an active dental license in the states of Texas, Louisiana, and Missouri and is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, American Association of Dental Consultants, and National Association of Dental Plans.
