Maintaining accurate provider and office information is essential for all dental practices participating in the Cigna Dental Network. Whether you are updating your Tax Identification Number (TIN), changing your office address, or adding or removing providers, Cigna Dental has clear procedures in place to ensure these updates are processed efficiently.
Updating office information
If your dental office needs to update its TIN, address, or practice name, follow these steps:
1. Complete the following required forms:
2. List all affected providers and be sure to include every provider impacted by the change to ensure records are updated accurately.
3. Submit the completed forms via email to: ProviderServiceUnitDental@Cignahealthcare.com
Adding a new provider
To contract a new provider with your dental office, please email the required enrollment paperwork to: Dentistenrollment@Cignahealthcare.com. This will start the credentialing process to ensure the new provider is correctly added to the Cigna Dental Network.
Removing a provider
You can remove a provider who is leaving or has left your office by contacting us via email at ProviderServiceUnitDental@Cignahealthcare.com to inform us of the change. The Provider Services Unit will reach out to you, guide you through the process, and provide the necessary forms to complete the removal. By following these steps, you can ensure that your provider(s) and dental office(s) information remains current with Cigna Dental. Having the correct information helps to avoid disruptions in claims processing and member care.
