Cigna Dental Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Begins on October 15th

Medicare Advantage open enrollment begins on October 15th and ends on December 7th, 2023.

Here are a few updates for 2024:

• Medicare Advantage members will be issued an updated ID Card that will specifically list the Dental Plan coverage that they have embedded in their medical plan.  The Cigna Dental Medicare Advantage Plan will display as either DPPO Allowance or DHMO.
• Cigna Dental Medicare Advantage will be offering some new DPPO/Allowance plan designs in select markets; some members may now have no or limited out-of-network coverage.
• There will be minimal changes to the Cigna Dental Medicare Advantage DHMO Patient Charge Schedules (PCSs); these PCSs will be available on CignaforHCP.com on January 1^st.
• Maryland (only): DHMO members will have the opportunity to “buy-up” to a Patient Charge Schedule that has more services covered.  Members will need to make this decision within the first 30 days of  their effective date on the plan and then no further changes can be made to their benefits.
