Dr. Dan Spagnoli is a recent addition to the Cigna clinical leadership team, bringing a strong foundation in clinical dentistry and extensive experience in dental leadership at the national level. He earned his doctorate from Temple University School of Dentistry and began his general practice in Florida, dedicating the following ten years to providing comprehensive family dental care to patients along the space coast.

Beyond his work in general practice, Dr. Spagnoli served as a clinical consultant for Delta Dental. During his tenure there, he focused on special investigations, the development of policy frameworks, and quality management initiatives. Prior to joining Cigna, he played a key role as a regional dental liaison in the senior dental-care sector, providing clinical oversight to a national team of providers.

As East Regional Dental Director, Dr. Spagnoli’s responsibilities include assisting with the support of national policy, leading clinical research efforts, managing dental networks, and implementing quality standards. He also plays an important role in supporting sales through regional finalist presentations and by providing annual utilization insights.

Dr. Spagnoli has contributed significantly to expanding treatment access for thousands of patients in long-term care facilities across the United States. He has led hundreds of provider teams, focusing on improving the quality of care for this population.
