When questions come up, starting in the right place can save time and help get answers faster. Whether you’re checking benefits, updating office information, or looking for more advanced support, the guide below outlines where to go and what to expect.

For many day‑to‑day questions, the fastest place to begin is CignaforHCP.com. This is the best resource for patient eligibility and benefits, claims, and payments. The site also includes helpful administrative tools such as Cigna Dental Office Reference Guides, clinical guidelines, and Cigna Dental Care® reports.

If you prefer to speak with someone directly, you can also contact Customer Service at 800.Cigna24 (800.244.6224).

If your inquiry involves network participation, such as updating office information, setting up or changing direct deposit/EFT, requesting copies of contracts or fee schedules, or general plan administration, the Provider Services Unit (PSU) is the right place to go.

You can reach PSU at 800.88Cigna (800.882.4462). When calling, have your Tax Identification Number (TIN) available. At the prompts, enter your TIN, then say “contracting,” followed by “dental.” This helps ensure your call is routed correctly. 

If you are adding a new provider to your practice, send enrollment requests to DentistEnrollment@Cignahealthcare.com.

For questions about the status of an application already submitted, email ProviderServiceUnitDental@Cignahealthcare.com.

For recredentialing applications or inquiries, support is available by phone, fax, or email. You can call 855.629.8584, fax documents to 860.263.3938, or email Dental.9dentrec@Cignahealthcare.com.

If a claim issue has already gone through standard channels and requires further review, contracted providers may submit an escalated claims inquiry by emailing DentalHCPInquiry@Cigna.com.

Contracted dental providers also have access to a dedicated Provider Relations Manager (PRM). PRMs offer advanced assistance with the administration of DPPO and Cigna Dental Care® products within your office.

To find your assigned PRM, visit the Cigna Dental Digital Provider Newsroom, select the “Provider Relations” tab at the top of the page, and look for your representative under “Territory Managers.”
