Cigna Dental Care® and DPPO Summary
New CDT 2026 dental procedure codes effective January 1, 2026
The American Dental Association (ADA) has released its Code on Dental Procedures and Nomenclature for 2026 (CDT 2026). Please use these codes for all procedures performed on or after January 1, 2026. As in previous releases, some new codes have been added, and other existing codes have been deleted.
Not all CDT codes are covered on all dental plans administered by Cigna Dental. You should have received an email announcement with a complete list of CDT 2026 dental procedure codes that are now covered on Cigna Dental schedules and those that are no longer active.
